Ultima granted us one final meeting with him in the late hours of last night. He made us aware that he knew he had to die in this battle. And with his death, Ultima asked that we share this final message with all of Carnac.
For those unaware, Krowaz was indeed beaten back by Ultima and the allied forces of El Morad and Karus. Krowaz made an attempt to flee the assault on Dragon Island and invade Moradon, Ultima though was able to rally his troops in front of the Gates of Moradon. There he gave his life, but in that act he used the power of Kentaurau to forever banish Krowaz back into his dominion.
On a final note, Ultima wanted us to inform our readers that all Knights who risked their lives in what is being called "The Battle of Dragon Island" will be rewarded for their heroic efforts. Ultima did not reveal how each Knight would be rewarded or how they would receive their award. He was vague and calm throughout the night. He embodied an ancient, majestic being who knew he was about to fulfill his destiny.
Ultima knew his time had come. Ultima perished at the gates of Moradon, but this act will save Carnac for at least one more day. It is now up to us, the people of Carnac, to save the world.
